About Tarot Flashcards
Tarot flashcards are the fastest way to commit the 78 cards to memory. Each card shows its traditional artwork on the front; flip it to reveal the keywords, the upright meaning, and (optionally) the reversed meaning. It is the same spaced-study approach you would use for a language deck, built specifically for tarot.
You can focus a session on the 22 Major Arcana, the 56 Minor Arcana, or a single suit — Wands, Cups, Swords or Pentacles — so you learn in manageable batches. Cards you mark as "still learning" come back around in the same session, while cards you "know" drop out, so your time goes where it is needed most.
How to play
- Choose a deck to study: Major, Minor, a single suit, or all 78 cards.
- Look at the card image and try to recall its meaning before flipping.
- Tap the card to reveal its keywords and upright meaning. Toggle "Show reversed meanings" to study reversals too.
- Mark each card "Know It" or "Still Learning" — learning cards are reshuffled back into the session.
- Watch the progress bar fill as you master each deck. Your progress is saved on this device.
What you'll learn
- Visual recognition — connect each card's artwork to its name.
- Core upright and reversed meanings for every card.
- The keyword associations readers use for fast interpretation.
- How the four suits and the Major Arcana group together thematically.
