The Truth card appears when the gap between who you are and who you pretend to be has grown too wide to sustain. Like a mirror that cannot lie regardless of who stands before it, this card strips away the comfortable narratives, the justified avoidances, the stories you tell yourself to stay comfortable in situations that are slowly diminishing you. This is not about cruelty — the mirror has no agenda, no judgment, no investment in your shame. It simply reflects. The ancient Delphic inscription "know thyself" was not a gentle suggestion but a prerequisite for approaching the divine: you cannot grow from where you pretend to be, only from where you actually are. What truth have you been decorating with excuses? What reality have you been blurring with busyness? The mirror is patient. It will wait until you are ready.
