Is The Magician a Yes or a No?
All four suits sit on the table and one hand points up while the other points down: the resources, the will and the channel are all present. This is a yes that depends on you acting, not on luck arriving. On the card: A figure stands behind a table with one arm raised toward the heavens holding a wand, the other pointing to the earth. An infinity symbol hovers above their head. On the table lie the four suits of the tarot: a wand, cup, sword, and pentacle.
Why is The Magician a Yes?
The verdict comes from the picture. The raised wand stands for connection to divine will and universal energy: the conduit between heaven and earth, channeling spiritual power into manifestation. The pointing to earth stands for grounding spiritual energy into physical reality: as above, so below - the hermetic principle of correspondence. The four suits on table stands for wand, cup, sword, pentacle - all elements at disposal: mastery over all aspects of life: spiritual, emotional, mental, and material.
The Magician in love questions
Yes when the question is about attraction, a conversation or making something happen between you. Check who is doing the conjuring: the Magician reversed in a love question often describes charm without follow-through.
The Magician in work and money questions
A strong yes for pitches, interviews, launches and anything that rewards skill and focus. For "will the money come by itself" the answer is no; this card pays those who do the work in front of them.
The Magician for "when" questions
Fast, as soon as you begin. The infinity sign above the head says the result follows the action, not the calendar.
Example questions answered by The Magician
"Will I get the promotion?" Yes, if you ask for it with evidence in hand. The card does not deliver promotions to people who wait to be noticed. "Does he feel the same way about me?" Yes, there is real pull here. Whether it is acted on depends on someone making the first clear move. "Can I turn this side project into income?" Yes. You already have the tools; the card asks for focus on one of them rather than all four.
What should you do after drawing The Magician?
With a Yes from The Magician, act on it. Recognize that you are the magician of your own life. Align your will with divine will, gather your resources, focus your intention, and take inspired action. The power to transform your reality lies within you - use it wisely, ethically, and with confidence. Remember: where attention goes, energy flows, and manifestation follows.
