Ask the Oracle
Some questions don't fit into yes or no. Ask the oracle anything — a person, a decision, a pattern — and get the full response: a card drawn for your question, its message, and what it means for you.

The card draw itself does not use this text. If you request the full response, the question is sent to our AI provider; omit names and identifying details.
How the Oracle Answers
An oracle doesn't predict — it names. When you ask a question, one card is drawn from our Virtues oracle deck, and that card carries a specific message: the energy the oracle sees at the center of what you asked. The card answer is instant and free, and every card links to its full meaning if you want to go deeper into the symbolism.
The full responseis where the reading becomes yours: it takes your exact question and reads the card against it — why this card for this question, what it's pointing at in your situation, and what to actually do next. That's the difference between looking up a card meaning and being read.
What Can You Ask the Oracle?
The best oracle questions are open — they ask for insight rather than a verdict:
- About a person: “What do I need to understand about him right now?”
- About a decision: “What should I weigh before taking this job?”
- About a pattern: “Why do I keep ending up here?”
- About a season: “What is this month asking of me?”
- About yourself: “What am I not seeing?”
If your question is genuinely binary — will it happen, should I do it, does she feel the same — the yes or no oracle gives you a straight answer with the reason why. Use whichever fits the question you're actually holding.
Ask the Oracle FAQ
How do I ask the oracle a question?
Type the question the way you'd ask a wise friend — a person, a decision, a situation, a feeling. The oracle draws one card from our oracle deck for your question and answers with the card's message. The full response then reads that card against your exact wording: what the oracle sees, why this card arrived, and what to do with it.
Is the full response free?
Yes. The card and its message are instant with no sign-up. The full response — the personalised reading of your card against your exact question — is free with an account, with a daily limit. Premium removes the wait and raises the daily allowance across every tool on the site.
What kind of questions can the oracle answer?
Anything open-ended: "What do I need to know about this job?", "Why does this keep happening with him?", "What should I focus on this month?". The oracle answers in guidance, not verdicts — it names the energy and the direction. If your question is truly binary and you want a straight answer with the reason why, our yes or no oracle is built exactly for that.
How is this different from the yes or no oracle?
The yes or no oracle answers binary questions — will it, should I, does he — with a clear yes, no, or maybe plus the reason. Ask the Oracle takes questions that don't reduce to yes or no and answers in full: a card, its message, and a personalised reading. Same deck family, different kind of question.
Can I ask the oracle the same question twice?
You can, but asking again because you didn't like the answer usually tells you more than a second card would — your disappointment or relief at the first answer is the real reading. Sit with it for a day, then return with the follow-up question the answer raised.
Which oracle deck does this use?
Our own Virtues oracle deck — each card carries a virtue, a message, and meanings for love, career, and spiritual questions. Every card in your answer links to its full meaning page, so you can go as deep into the symbolism as you like.
For reflection and entertainment. The oracle offers symbolic guidance, not facts, predictions, or professional advice.
